The project
Nestled within a tranquil pine forest, this remarkable wooden home provides a genuine, idealised forest living experience, one that blurs the boundary between architecture and nature.
Designed by a visionary Polish architect, the house is carefully positioned to frame sweeping views of the surrounding woodland. Expanses of floor-to-ceiling glass invite the forest into every room, creating a quiet dialogue between interior and landscape. The palette of multi-colored wood species used throughout the structure mirrors the richness of the natural surroundings, allowing the home to blend organically into its setting.
Wood is more than a material here; it’s a design philosophy. The extensive use of Scandinavian spruce and white Douglas fir, featured prominently on the walls and soaring vaulted ceilings, forms the architectural backbone of the space. Their texture, tone, and warmth are on full display, reinforcing a strong and sincere connection to nature.
