The project

When we first met Mathieu, he shared the vision he and his wife Clémence had for a place unlike any other: @Ostara Ecolodge, a luxurious, eco-conscious retreat immersed in nature. Passionate about travel, architecture, sustainability, and exceptional design, they had a clear dream, and we were instantly inspired by it.

Set against a backdrop of lush forests and open meadows, Ostara is a sanctuary of calm and considered beauty. Our contribution: black charred Douglas Fir cladding that wraps the building in a bold, elegant skin. It not only complements the surrounding landscape but also gives the structure a strong, sculptural presence, balancing luxury with nature in perfect harmony.
