Paris Project
The project
This contemporary residence explores a refined balance between clean architectural lines and a rich palette of materials. Mineral textures, soft-toned render, and curved metal forms are brought together with warmth and depth through the integration of wood.
The use of charred wood in Douglas Hazelnut defines the upper volume, creating contrast while maintaining a natural continuity with the surrounding elements. Its deep, nuanced tones highlight the geometry of the building, while the burnt finish reveals the grain and adds a subtle, evolving texture as the light changes throughout the day.
Rather than acting as a simple cladding, the material becomes an integral part of the architectural expression, bringing character, depth, and a distinctive identity to the façade.
