The project

The new Muzeum Bursztynu is a contemporary addition to Mielno’s Baltic coastline. Its façade combines a strong geometric composition with vertical timber cladding in white and grey charred finishes.

The natural texture and tonal variation of the timber soften the building’s angular frontage while adding depth, rhythm and warmth. This contrast between precise architectural lines and the organic character of charred wood creates a distinctive exterior for a museum dedicated to amber.

The timber façade was installed by Blackwood Poland.
