Set within a peaceful woodland landscape near the lake region, this holiday home is entirely clad in our Douglas Gray finish, creating a refined dialogue between architecture and nature.
The softly brushed and oiled timber reveals the natural grain of the Douglas fir while developing a subtle silvery grey tone that blends effortlessly with the surrounding birch trees. The result is a façade and a terrace that feels both modern and timeless, offering warmth and exceptional durability.
The continuous vertical cladding extends seamlessly across the façades, entrance and covered terrace, reinforcing the home’s minimalist architecture with clean, uninterrupted lines. Paired with the dark pitched roof and black aluminium details, the Douglas Gray finish creates a sophisticated yet understated aesthetic.
Designed to weather beautifully over time, our Douglas Gray combines the traditional Japanese Yakisugi technique with modern craftsmanship, delivering a low maintenance exterior that is as resilient as it is elegant.
